Smart Indian School Explores ‘Extempore and Speaking Tree’

The Smart Indian School conducted extempore competition for grades 5 and 6 along with the ‘Speaking Tree’ (story telling) competition for grades 1 and 2. Every student from the grades partook in full measure that their stunning performance was adjudged by selective parameters.

Theparticipants exhibited an active enthusiasm for the topics like, “the type of art they want to look at”, “table manners - are they important”, “thekind of books they would like to write if they would be the authors” etc. The creative impulses they had for the topics, the spontaneity of the language and the cheerful demeanor proved their affinity towards the saying, “participating is as important as winning.”

The panel of judges with the pleasure of seeing the astonishing caliber of some students listed few with extraordinary talents bycrowning them as ‘smart winners’ of the competitions. The number of spontaneous stories with enormous props instilled a deeper level of confidence in the children as they basked into the limelight. It was commendable to see when students’ topics were surmised by the audienceafter their speeches, thus proving to evaluate the efficacy of the speakers. Smart Indian School is pleased to share the students’ talents to the world by enhancing their widespread development.
