Farwaniya Hospital launches antismoking campaign

In collaboration with the Environment Public Authority (EPA), Farwaniya Hospital’s Manager Dr Hani Al-Mutairi announced launching an antismoking campaign. He pointed out that the aim of the campaign was to stop law violators, both employees and visitors, in hospital corridors. Mutairi added that EPA’s PR and Environmental Awareness Manager Dr Khaled AlEnezi visited the hospital and inspected the corridors, which resulted in fining some violators. He added that the hospital’s administration will not tolerate smoking.

Enezi said that his inspection tour was made on a request from the hospital administration. He alsoreminded of the environment protection penalties that range from
KD 50 to KD 1 million to capital punishment.
