Risala Study Circle’s National Art & Literary Fest (Sahithyolsav) Brochure released

Risala Study Circle (RSC) has commenced its two months long 8th Art & Literary festival titled ‘Sahithyolsav’. TVS Group Chairman Dr. S.M. Hyther Ali released the brochure of National Sahityolsav by handing over the copy to I.C.F. National Committee President Abdul Hakeem Darimi.

Following the completion of unit level competitions, zone level competitions will be conducted on 21 October 2016 at Carmel School auditorium- Khaitan, Indian Public School auditorium- Salmia, Chachoose auditorium – Jaleeb, Sangeetha auditorium – Mangaf and ICF Hall- Jahra. The best in class performers from the aforesaid five zones would be competing at National level Sahithyolsav on 4th November 2016 (Friday) at Abbasiya Pakistan English School between 8 am to 10 pm. More than 300 participants will be competing in 52 items on four separate stages. Vice President of SSF Kerala, one of the largest students movements in Kerala, Dr. Muhammed Farooq Naeemi will be the chief guest in the closing ceremony.

Various competitions such as ‘Mappilapaattu’, qawwali, elocutions, group songs, storytelling, painting, poem and story writing, language games, mathematical puzzles, maduhu songs, duff demonstrations, pencil drawing etc. for primary, junior, secondary, senior and general categories will be conducted. Demonstration of traditional ‘mappila arts’ will be held from 1 pm onwards on National Sahityolsav venues. Sahithyolsav events have been branded as a mega traditional art & cultural events across 6 Gulf countries.

Various committees have been formed for the successful completion of the event and special arrangements will be made for ladies and children.

TVS Group Finance Manager Arif, RSC National leaders Aboobacker Sidhiq Kottayi, Rafeek Kochanoor, Saleem Master, Rashid Cherushola, Shihab Vaniyannoor were also present in the brochure release function.
