Inauguration Ceremony of Smart Indian School

The historical event held on 6th October was a grand success. The eminent personalities Mr. Sunil Jain, the Ambassador of India to Kuwait and Dr. N. Gopalakrishnan, Senior Scientist from CSIR, Government of India were given a warm welcome by the kiddies with bouquet. The event kicked off with the recital of the Holy Quran. The audience were mesmerized by the scintillating Invocation dance and a musical rendition presented by the teachers of Indian Educational School, Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan, Kuwait.

Mr. Premkumar, Principal of IES, introduced Mr. Mahesh Iyer, the dynamic Principal of Smart Indian School, and welcomed all the dignitaries. He strengthened on the importance of listening to the children and highlighted the role played by the parents in the upbringing of their children. The honorable Ambassador to Kuwait Mr. Sunil Jain, highly appreciated the legend Mr. N.K Ramachandran Menon, the Chairman of Bhavans Middle East for setting up another landmark in the history of Bhavans, by dint of his hard work and dreams. He expressed his full confidence that SIS will reach greater heights under the charismatic leadership of Mr. Mahesh Iyer.

Mr. Suresh V Balakrishnan, the Senior Vice Principal of IES, further reinforced that this change of learning is going to do wonders and bring a favorable change in the learning process. The Vice Principal of IES Kg & Primary sections Mrs. Lalitha Premkumar, further reinstated the fact, that the opening of SIS is an added feather to the crown of Bhavans Middle East and wished the staff members glorious years of success.

Dr. N. Gopalakrishnan, the Guest of Honor of the show, gave an eye opening discourse of leading a meaningful and positive life. He stressed on the importance of imparting values of empathy in our children and to lead a useful life. He inculcated the Indian Value System and Ideal Parenting.

The ceremony ended on a cheerful note with a vote of thanks from the Vice Principal of SIS, Ms. Marie Christiane followed by the Indian National Anthem.
