Bhavans Kindergarten School celebrated Fruit Salad Day

Tuesday, September 20, 2016

“Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is not putting it in the fruit salad.”

The tiny tots of the kindergartens of IES, Jack and Jill Mangaf and Pearl Nursery celebrated Fruit Salad Day on September 01, Thursday exuberantly.

On the eve of the event the bulletin boards on the corridors of the KG wing were beautifully decorated with pictures and models of fruits of different colours and shapes. This really caught the imagination of the children to a fine kick-start of the day’s events.

The day began with a colourful activity where the children had to decorate their collage and colouring sheet of fruit stalls with crayons and colour papers from sticker pads. The young and inquisitive minds were so enthralled and engrossed in beautifying their stalls to the best their little hands and minds could take them.

The final touches to the stall were completed with precision and excitement. It was time to prepare the fruit salad and the eagerness to linger in the juicy salad was at its peak.

Not only did the kids eat healthy but the fruit salad pampered their taste buds as they enjoyed it and reaped a ton of benefits.

A ray of hope for the reluctant fruit eaters – tab a blob of vanilla ice cream on top of the fruit salad. Children will learn to love nature’s candy. Miracles cease to end anywhere anytime!
