85 arrested in Kabd security raid

Security operatives raided makeshift and unlicensed shops in Kabad area and checked 458 people of which 85 were without identification documents, two individuals whom absconding cases have been filed against, and two others with expired residency. The operation was led by Assistant Undersecretary for Operation Affairs Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh, acting Assistant Undersecretary for General Security Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah, Director General of Jahra Security Command Major General Ali Madhi, and Brigadier Muhammad Al-Sharhan.

A statement by General Public Relations and Security Media Department indicated the officers apprehended three individuals involved in civil cases, in addition to 14 people wanted by law for various offenses. They also arrested two people on suspicion of possessing illicit drugs, alongside six people who were operating unlicensed makeshift shops, and issued 65 traffic violations and impounded 7 vehicles during the operation.

The Public Relations and Security Media Department urges the general public to carry identification papers always to avoid arrest, affirming the security campaign will continue over an indeterminate period to sustain security while trailing outlaws in every nook and cranny of the state.
