Kuwait Municipality prepares 14 slaughterhouses ahead of Eid Al-Adha

Kuwait Municipality has erected 14 temporary slaughterhouses in all state governorates as part of its preparations for the upcoming Eid Al-Adha.
The municipality is exerting all possible efforts to to facilitate the slaughtering process and decrease pressure on the central slaughterhouses in the governorates by establishing temporary slaughterhouses in the co-operative societies in the residential areas, Deputy Director of Ahmadi and hawalli Municipality Fahad Al-Otaibi said in a press release.
A total of 14 temporary slaughterhouses will be erected at the co-operative societies sites so far in various governorates, anticipating an increase as well. Al-Otaibi stressed the importance of the presence of veterinary doctors in each temporary slaughterhouse, along with food and hygiene inspectors during Eid Al-Adha.
