NAFO Kuwait set to celebrate “ONAM” 2016

Stage is set for NAFO Onam & Anniversary Celebrations, on Friday 23rd September!

NAFO KUWAIT is set to celebrate “ONAM” and 13th Anniversary on Friday, 23rd September 2016, at the Indian Community School (Senior), Salmiya, from 09.30 am onwards. Hon. K. Vijayakumar - IPS, Snr. Security Advisor to Govt. of India, has consented to be the chief guest on this happy occasion. Distinguished guests from among all sections of Indian community will also grace the event with their benevolent presence.

Kerala’s own symphony “Panchavadyam”, traditional classical dance forms, “Mohiniyattam”, “Thiruvathirakali”, “Folk Dances”, “Fusion Dances, Semi-classical Cinematic Dances, Group Songs, Solo Songs, and a Skit by NAFO Gurukulam students will also be true highlights of the whole day celebrations. A grand traditional “Onasadya” will be served to all the guests and attendees.

All NAFO members and well-wishers along with their families are cordially invited to gather on this auspicious occasion as a single family in order to celebrate our dear traditional "Ponnonam" - the one and only living symbol of our unity, harmony and brotherhood.

Onasadya coupon and Raffle coupons for the day long festivity was officially released on Friday, Aug. 12th in a joint meeting of NAFO Executive Committee, Advisory Board and NAFO Ladies wing also with the benevolent participation of Hon. NAFO Patron, main sponsors of the event and program committee members. The Program committee has informed that NAFO members may kindly collect their Onasadya coupons by contacting any of the program committee or NAFO Executive Committee members so as to facilitate smooth distribution of coupons, and urged the members to kindly extend their sincere support and active participation.

Through collective hard work by numerous dedicated Nafoitans, and by successfully sponsoring and coordinating several recent mega programs and welfare schemes, NAFO has proven itself to be one of the leading, sincere, prestigious and honored associations in Kuwait. These accomplishments inspire the association to further strengthen and accelerate its socio-cultural services. This year the celebrations will be unique planned as two sessions at morning and evening staging a mega musical gig will definitely be a rare treat for the music connoisseurs in Kuwait.
