Indian Lawyers’ Forum Conducted Legal Seminar

A Family get together & Legal Seminar was organized by INDIAN LAWYERS’ FORUM Kuwait, the association of Indian Lawyers in Kuwait, at Salmiya.

Meeting was presided over by FORUM President Adv. Thomas Panicker. President highlighted the legal assistance & services the FORUM offered to the community. He also reiterated the importance of attending the monthly general body meetings by all MEMBERS of the FORUM where members discuss professional subject of mutual interest for their professional updates. President declared that in every meeting each member will present one or more legal subjects for discussions. He informed that on an average 30-40 community members on a monthly basis, approach the FORUM with their legal quiries. Forum offered to conduct legal seminars for any associations willing to conduct legal seminars.

Adv. Thomas Stephen welcomed the FORUM members and their families. Adv. Mohammed Basheer presented the monthly report.
Discussion on Labour Law & Legal developments in India, was followed with the active participation of Adv. Sumod, Adv. Sudeer Nambiar, Adv. Shivadas, Adv. Priya, Adv. Mini and Adv. Bishnu Das.

Forum decided to rejuvinate the forum activities by the following programs.

1. Forum decided to conduct house visit of the members, and visit sponsors to support our legal aid programmes as suggested and headed by Adv. Shivadas & Adv. Mohammed Basheer.
2. To conduct training of the children on various desciplenes, as Suggested by Adv.. Bishnudas.
3. Prepare write ups/ articles for our updating directory, as suggested by President and headed by Mr. Sumod.
4. Forum decided to organise an yearly planner and to have regular debates/ discussions on current affairs by memebers headed by Mrs. Vidya sumod.
5. Forum decided to conduct regular Onam celebaration and to have Forum’s mega annual day tentatively by Nov.11 or 18th of 2016.
