Training Seminar –“Process Safety Management”

Adding on to its illustrious pathways of educating and empowering its members, American Society of Safety Engineers, (ASSE) Kuwait Chapter conducted a training seminar on "PROCESS SAFETY MANAGEMENT” on 5th August, at Kohinoor Banquet Hall, Fahaheel. The trainer for the session was Mr. Sanjay Saiswal CSP. 38 members attended the event and got benefited from this program.
ASSE- Kuwait Chapter lead by Chairman Mr.Fadhel-Al Ali, is a non- profit organization which always strives to excel in providing quality trainings and consultation in the field of Health Safety and Environment all across different public and private sectors in Kuwait.
Mr. C Rama Krushna Chary, President of ASSE Kuwait chapter welcomed the participants. He briefed about the significance of the training seminar and the importance of conducting such seminars for the benefit of ASSE members. Mr. Sony Thomas CSP, Head of Training Committee, in his brief address, congratulated the participants for their interest to learn and updating their knowledge and introduced the trainer. Mr. Sanjay Jaiswal.
Mr. Sanjay Jaiswal, is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, USA and holds B.E.in Fire Engineering from Nagpur University India. He is a member of ASSE .
Kuwait Chapter and the present Secretary of the chapter .
Mr. Sanjay Jaiswal, is presently working in Kuwait Oil Company as Safety Specialist. He carries more than 25 years’ experience in downstream and midstream Oil & Gas industry. His specific skill areas include but not limited to the development and implementation of HSE Management System, HSE Studies, Auditing & Inspections, Risk Assessment & Loss prevention, Accident investigations, Process Safety Management and Contractor HSE management. HSE Training etc.
The training seminar was meticulously carried on by the trainer and effectively communicated citing relevant industrial scenarios and case studies. He elaborated the elements of PSM , measures to improve process integrity, measures of HSE performance in process industry ,hazard identification/Risk assessment studies, implementation of safe work practise and emergency response plan with power point presentation and audio & visual demonstrations.

The program turned out to be very advantageous to all the members particularly to the safety Officers and Engineers from Petrochemical industries.
Mr. Sony Thomas, Head of training committee, thanked the speaker Mr. Sanjay Jaiswal for this initiative. The session concluded with the distribution of Participation Certificates to the participants.
