145 arrested in Jahra security raid

A crackdown by the Interior Ministry continued yesterday in Industrial Jahra, resulting in the arrest of 145 residency violators and wanted persons. The campaign, supervised by a number of senior ministry officials led by Undersecretary Lt Gen Suleiman Al-Fahd, closed all areas, streets and roads in the area to carry out the campaign. The campaign led to arrest 11 individuals with expired visa, 3 civil cases, 7 absconding cases, 73 residency law violations, 4 without identifications and 3 arrested for wanted by law.

During the campaign, authorities also seized 5 vehicles and recorded 40 traffic violation.
