Police impersonator arrested in Jleeb

Farwaniya police put an end to the activities of a citizen who posed as a detective as he carries out several robberies, using a vest and a baton. Captagon tablets were also found in his possession. The arrest was made during a routine patrol in Jleeb and Abbasiya area. Patrol officers saw a person wearing a vest and carrying the baton, but when the policemen approached him he ran away on foot. They chased and caught him after he resisted and attempted to attack the officers. A security source said the 22-year-old Kuwaiti confessed to carrying out tens of robberies. He was sent to concerned authorities.
