A new page in IMA’s history – Launch of IMA Children Circle

Thursday, June 23, 2016

IMA Children Circle was launched on 4th June 2016 in presence of renowned Islamic speaker from India, Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Aslam and the top cadre of IMA. The objective of establishing this circle among vast array of IMA groups is to equip the growing children with the most excellent Islamic as well as worldly abilities so that they may grow with clarity and competence in the modern world.

Our mission is to work towards building an environment which makes the next generation a complete human being. With the pressure and competitive environment of today’s world, many children lose their childhood in the immensity of school books and academic activities. We want to see our children excel in academic but more importantly be compassionate towards others, respect elders, recognize team building, physically and mentally fit, appreciate nature, be innovative and last but not the least face the world with a smile and courage to right all wrongs surrounding them.

The selection of the venue was done carefully considering kids’ program and was conducted at Salmiya garden, block 10. The program started at 6:45 pm with Maghreb prayer followed by beautiful Quranic recitation from Surah Baqarah by Miss. Tuba and Miss. Madiha. The number of children at the launch were around 40 who went through a rapid round of introducing themselves to the rest of the children by mentioning their name, age, hobbies and class. We believe that no children program will be complete without games and hence around 10 games were conducted which filled the kids’ evening with enjoyment and excitement. Later all children were given small gifts which made them ecstatic. Mr. Ejaz Ahmed Aslam awarded certificates to the children who had participated in Cultural activities in IMA Picnic 2016. Isha prayer was also conducted in the garden and was concluded by handing over meal boxes to the children who enjoyed their meal in the open sky and pleasant weather.

The age group of Children Circle would be 5 years to 10 years for girls while 5 years to 15 years for boys. Some of the future activities would be; Islamic Cultural activities, public speaking programs, inculcating hobbies, leadership training programs, Hadith and Surah recitation competitions and mind stimulating games.

We implore Allah SWT’s blessing on launch of new initiative and shall strive for the best to bring up the next generation in the most proficient manner.
