FIMA held Grand Iftar Banquet - Ramadan 2016

Federation of Indian Muslims Associations (FIMA) in Kuwait hosted a large and traditional Grand Iftar Banquet (Ramadan 2016) which was held on Monday, the 13th June-2016 from5:00 pm in Kuwait Crowne plaza Hotel, H.E Shri Sunil Jain, Ambassador of India to Kuwait was the Chief Guest, along with our Special Guest Sheikh Dawood Abdul Wahab Alasousi, Asst. Under Secretary, Cultural Affairs, Ministry of Auqaf, Sheikh Engineer Abdul Aziz Al Duaij, Director General – IPC, and many other prominent personalities, including Ambassadors from Korea, South Africa & Srilanka.
The event started at 5:30 p.m with recitation of the Holy Quran by Br. Shuaib, Dr. K.M. Sharfudeen Consultant Neurologist given special address about Brain health and Fasting. Master of ceremony. Br., Hidayathullah Secretary General welcomed distinguished gathering of diplomats, Kuwaiti dignitaries, special invitees and association members,
President Br., Syed Ifthekar Ahmed expressed the association’s appreciation to the Chief Guest Indian Ambassador H.E. Sunil Jain for his support and good work done for the Indian community and the important of prayer.
H.E Shri Sunil Jain, Ambassador of India, Kuwait was the Chief Guest of our program and delivered his esteemed oratory felicitating this grand Iftar program appreciating FIMA’s activities to community welfare also special guest are given special address to all.
Guest of honor Sheikh Dawood Abdul Wahab Alasousi, expressed in views related to the holy month of Ramadan and Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al Duaij appreciate the contributions of Indians and declared his full support to the Indian Community residing in Kuwait.
Memento presentation was nicely conducted by Bro. Hidayathullah calling on H.E Shri Sunil Jain, Ambassador of India, to present Memento honoring Dr. K.M. Sharfudeen and Main Sponsor BRF-Alyasra Food Company ‘in the presence of FIMA President, Syed Ifthekar Ahmed and other FIMA Executive Members.
Finally, Vice President Br. Harris Aydeed delivered Vote of thanks. He expressed sincere gratitude for all the participants and Chief and Special Guests Iftar Banquet and Dinner was served to everyone and this program was once again most professional and memorable one and ALL left the venue with fond remembrance and with prayers for FIMA to achieve more and more heights and serve diligently, insha Allah.
