Sunday, June 12, 2016

The Class X 2015-16 NIOS board exam was declared on 9th June, 2016 and ICSK students have once again performed par excellence. With a pass percentage of 83% and three toppers Ruqhaiya Mirza with 79.2%, Yasmeen Nasar Ali with 78.4% and Mehedi Imran with 76%, the students have made their teachers proud. The result is praiseworthy as many of the students registered under the NIOS have difficulty coping with regular scheme of studies and have performed well owing to the systematic and well-planned study approach at ICSK. The dedicated teaching staff works hard to help the NIOS students perform well.

ICSK became an Accredited Institution of NIOS in 2014 and is the regional study center and center for conducting examinations.

The NIOS, National Institute of Open Schooling, offers academic as well as vocational courses in various streams at the Secondary and the Senior Secondary level similar to the CBSE and the CISCE. It is the board of education under the Union Government of India and was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The NIOS offers wide range of features and flexibility to suit specific needs of students. There is no upper age limit for students enrolling and students can select any subject combination from a wide variety of subjects being offered at ICSK.

Also, flexibility in the scheme of examinations and admissions is provided.
