82 kg spoiled fish destroyed in Farwaniya

Farwaniya municipality field campaign resulted in destroying 62 kg of fish unfit for human consumption and 20 kg of spoiled meat. The municipality’s public relations department said the campaign lasted from 9:00 pm Thursday to 12:30 am Friday morning, and included several shops, restaurants and supermarkets in various areas of the governorate.
Head of the emergency team at Farwaniya branch Khalid Al-Radaan said some of the workers do not know how to move and store food, which causes it to spoil, and they
should be educated on proper handling of foodstuff.
