Class XII Students of ICSK Excel in NIOS Board Exam

The students of the Indian Community School Kuwait registered with the NIOS board have performed exceedingly well in the Class XII results declared ON 7th June, 2016. Excellent result of the NIOS students has yet again proved that ICSK provides quality education and specialized coaching that allows students to perform to the best of their abilities. The impressive pass percentage of 89% speaks volumes about the dedication of the teaching faculty in grooming the students who come from varied backgrounds.

The result is commendable as many of the students registered under the NIOS have difficulty coping with regular scheme of studies and have performed well owing to the systematic and well-planned study approach at ICSK.

Arjun Anil Raj, Annabelle Elizabeth Pereira and Shahina Fatima Abbas are the toppers with 81%, 79% and 77.4% respectively. Admirably, 40% students in the subject Data Entry have scored more than 90%.

ICSK became an Accredited Institution of NIOS in 2014 and is the regional study center and center for conducting examinations.

The NIOS, National Institute of Open Schooling, offers academic as well as vocational courses in various streams at the Secondary and the Senior Secondary level similar to the CBSE and the CISCE. It is the board of education under the Union Government of India and was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

The NIOS offers wide range of features and flexibility to suit specific needs of students. There is no upper age limit for students enrolling and students can select any subject combination from a wide variety of subjects being offered at ICSK. Also, flexibility in the scheme of examinations and admissions is provided.
