Kuwait planning to put heavy fine for throwing garbage out from moving cars

Local authorities planning to issue penalties to car owners for throwing rubbish from their vehicle.
Local Arabic News paper, Al Rai, reported that Municipality will deal strictly with those who throw cigarette butts onto the street from moving vehicles.
The daily added, the fine will range between KD 5 and KD 200 depending on the nature and seriousness of the offence. In some cases the violator may be referred to the Public Prosecution.
As per the law No.9 of the year 1987 throwing all kinds garbage and cigarettes butts from a moving vehicle, the value of the citation will be KD 5 (if the violation is indirect).
The vehicle’s plate number and the citation will be recorded against the violator at the General Traffic Department
