Pavendar Kazhagam, Kuwait Organized Its 43rd Kalam in Mangaf

Kuwait Pavendar Kazhagam organized its 43rd Kalam as a May Day special programme on 06.05.2016 at Pavendar Arangam in MANGAF. The programme started at 05.00 P.M and was anchored by our Executive member Mr. S.Raveendran. Prayer song was sung by our junior members R.Sharon Balaji, R.NaveenSurya & by Mr.S.Raveendran.

The programme was presided over by “Ilakkiya Selvar” Mr. Vasu Ramanathan and in the presence of Mr. Gowthaman.

The Chief Guest was introduced to audience by Mr. Pazha Krishnamoorthy, Secretary, PVKK.

PVKK Kalappaadal was sung by Mrs.Gomathy & Mrs. Umadevi and one Thirkkural was beautifully elucidated by Mrs.Thamaraiselvi. Mr. Raja narrated a story with a nice moral in an interesting way.

The event under title “KalaththuMedu” was performed by PVKK Children members Selvan R.Vishwesh Balaji, Selvi P.Uma Priya, Selvi K. Nikishasri, Selvan R. Sharon Balaji, Selvi A. Muthulakshmi, Selvan R. Mithun Madhava, Selvan R.Naveen Surya, Selvi.Thanusri, Selvi.Haripriya, Selvan.Srivatsan, and Selvan. Nithinkrish. Children’s performance of dances and songs were well appreciated by the Chief Guests, audience and members.

Mr.B.Sekar (Former President) delivered a speech about “Manangavarndha Manorama” under the title “Ninanithu Ninainthu”, which was amazing.

Poets Mr. Ravanan (Former President), Mr. Abuthahir (President, PVKK), Mr. Dhandayuthapani & Mr. Sathishkumar recited beautiful poems on the topic “Thaye Thalai” under the title “Kavidhai Siragu”.

A Pattimandram was organized under the leadership of Mrs. Umadevi Raveendran (Treasurer, PVKK). The title was “Who is contributing more for the betterment of the society? Working hands of Employees? Or The cash power of Employers? Mrs. Priya Kannan (Public Relations Secretary, PVKK) & Mrs. Gomathy Avudaiappan argued for the employees. Mr.K.Natarajan (Vice President, PVKK) & Mrs.Sudha Balaji argued for employers. The arguments from both the sides set the stage on fire. The judge Mrs. Umadevi Raveendran was taking the event in a humorous way to quench the fire. Finally, the judgement went to the working hands of employees.

The Chief Guest Mr. Vasu Ramanathan delivered a wonderful, spell-bounded speech. He appreciated all the events performed in the programme, which were organized by the office -bearers of Pavendar Kazhagam. During his speech, The Chief Guest mentioned that events were extraordinary, educative and delightful to watch. Furthermore he added that events were meticulously structured to educate audience with amusement.

The dinner was sponsored by our Mrs. & Mr. Abuthahir and by PVKK. The event was concluded with national anthem by PVKK Members.
