Bhavans to open new Indian school in Kuwait; Celebrated 10 years in Kuwait

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kuwait will open a new branch in Kuwait at Abbasiya this academic year. This was announced by the Director Sooraj Ramachandran during their 10th anniversary celebration of the first Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan in Kuwait. The Bhavan's which started their first Indian Educational School, at Abbasiya in the year 2006, completed glorious 10 years of its success and the decennial celebration was attended by HE Sunil Jain, Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, Mr Ashok Pradan IAS Retd - former Secretary to Government of India and the Director of Bhavans Delhi, along with the Bhavans Middle East Chairman Mr Ramachandar Menon, Principal T Prem Kumar and a galaxy of dignitaries and invitees.

The second branch of Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan will start functioning from September 2016 and the admission procedures will start from August 1st, Chairman informed. The New school branch is located in Abbasiya near to the existing branch.

Within 10 years of its glorious journey, Bhavans Middle east opened 10 branches across the Middle East with schools in Oman, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain Al Ain and Kuwait. The Bhavans Kuwait is already operating Pearl Nursery at Rawda, Jack and Jill Nursery in Mangaf and Scientific Excellence Academy in Salmiya.

The New Bhavans school opening in Kuwait will be a great advantage to the large number of Indian community in Kuwait, said HE Sunil Jain during his speech. He wished all the success to Bhavans fraternity for their continuous endeavour to provide the knowledge of learning to the Indian community.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Bhavans in Kuwait, variety of cultural performance by the teachers was held. Bhavans is also conducting interschool competitions on various events to celebrate the 10th anniversary.
