Catholicate College Pathanamthitta Alumni Association - Kuwait Chapter conducted 15th Anniversary Celebration

Catholicate College Pathanamthitta Alumni Association -Kuwait Chapter conducted its 15th Anniversary Celebration Closing Ceremony on 22nd April 2016 at Abbassiya Indian Central School Auditorium with vivid programs.

Indian Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission and Chief Public Information Officer H.E. Shubashis Goldar was the chief guest to grace the memorable occasion. A warm welcome was given to him with Thalappoli.

Programs were started at 10.15 am with cultural events by our young talented children, such as, dances by Kumari Deena Elsa George, Kumari Diya Vinod Thomas, Kumari Rinsha and Team & a song sung by Master Johann Jacob Thomas.

The public function was started with silent prayer. The meeting was presided over by Mr. Philips John - President. The event was inaugurated by lighting the traditional lamp ‘Bhadradeepam’ by H.E. Shubashis.

Felicitation speeches were rendered by Rev. Fr. Shaji Joshua - Vicar of St. Basil Indian Orthodox Church, Dr. Prof. Mrs. Saramma George - Former Professor of Catholicate College. Shri. Joby Kaleekkal - General Secretary welcomed the audience and Shri. Anil Varghese - General Convener delivered Vote of Thanks.

The most attractive Souvenir, a keep-sake booklet containing useful information in commemoration of the event was handed over by Shri. Shaji Abraham - Souvenir Convener to the chief guest and released by Mr. Shubashis Goldar.

The following CCAA members were honored at the public meeting. Mr. Raju Varghese - CCAA Advisory Board & Senior Member was given a sent off who is going homeland for good by ‘Ponnada’ & Memento. Mrs. Mariam Sam was given a memento for achieving the best teacher in Kuwait award.

Musical extravaganza by Melody Orchestra and magic show were staged as part of the show.

The most highlight of the event was the comedy program performed by Shri. Manoj Guinnes and Team. They enchanted the audience with their fabulous performances.

Programs were coordinated by Mr. Joby Kaleekkal - General Secretary & Program Convener and well compared by Mrs.Sneha Susan Suraj.

The cooperation and support rendered by CCAA members, sponsors and well wishers made the Fifteenth Anniversary Celebration Closing Ceremony a grand success.It was a colorful and memorable day.
