ICSK Junior Conducts ‘Satrarambh’ Assembly

‘Well begun is half done’ is a famous saying that puts onus on preparation, planning and enthusiasm required to complete any task undertaken by each one of us.

The year-long activities that take place at the Indian Community School Kuwait, Junior, began with a series of assemblies ‘Satrarambh 2016’. ‘ Lead from the unknown to the known ,darkness to the light of knowledge’ was the prayer on each person’s lips as the students stood seeking the divine intervention as they took a new step forward in their journey of knowledge.

The traditional lamp lighting ceremony marked the auspicious occasion and it was graced by the Principal in-charge, Vice-Principal, Supervisors, Class representatives, and the assembly in-charges.

This was followed by a somber all religion prayers recited by the students along with the translation.

A short speech titled ‘New beginning’ was given to welcome all the present to the new academic year. The speech highlighted the meaning of ‘Satrarambh’ – beginning of the new academic year.

The students of class III motivated their friends with inspirational quotes on how to succeed in life.

The beautiful song and the energetic dance performance that followed were reminders that it is important to enjoy each and every moment of your school life and live it to the fullest.

The group dance in colourful attire and beaming expressions of little children truly enthralled the audience.

The Principal in-charge Mrs. Shirley Dennis emphasized on the importance of having a positive attitude towards life.
