Kuwait Ernakulam Residents Association conducted "VASANTHOLSAVAM 2016"

KERA (Kuwait Ernakulam Residents Association) the prominent NRI association from Ernakulam-the financial capital of Kerala, conducted "VASANTHOLSAVAM 2016", a cultural extravaganza with all its splendor, at United Indian School Auditorium - Abbassiya on 8th April 2016.
The formal Inaugural function was presided by the General Secretary of KERA - Mr. Benny.K.O. Events Co-ordinator Mr.Ajo Abraham welcomed the invitees and audients.The cultural programme was formally inaugurated by the chief guest of the program, Mr. S.Goldar - Deputy Commission of Mission of Indian Embassy in Kuwait.
Special Invitees Dr.Jayakrishnan(Shifa Al Jazeera clinic), Mr.Ismayil Payyoli, prominent business person Mr.Thomas.K.Thomas, Adv. John Thomas ( United Indian School - Manager ) etc. jointly lighted the lamp. KERA Advisory Board member Mr.Yesudas Xavier, Vanitha vedhi convener Mrs.Theresa Antony,Executive committee members Biju.S.P & Nazeer Sheikh etc. also adorned the dignitaries on the dais. Mr.Premchand,Mr.Jino George etc were the other prominent diginitaries present.The Souvenir named as “Mayoogham” was released during the event by Souvenir Editor Mr. Binil Skaria offering the first copy to Dr.Jayakrishnan. KERA honored the brilliant students from families of Ernakulam District,with Gold Medals for their academic excellence in the annual examinations. The prizes for the winners of various competitions like KERA Mazhavillu Colouring Competition were also distributed during the event. Colourfull cultural programmes including classical dances, cinematic dances, orchestra by Gulf Beats, instrumental fusion music, mimics, comedy skit etc were performed by the talent group of KERA, co-ordinated and controlled by Mr. Dennis John – Arts Convenor. Gifts were distributed to all the participants of the programme. Souvenir Mr.Binil Skaria rendered thanks to everyone.KERA members and friends around 900 arrived to the venue in transport arranged from all locations of Kuwait.The programme concluded with delicious dinner arranged by the food committee lead by KERA general co-ordinator Mr.P.M.Sadashivan.
