Sarayat season in Kuwait until May 17

Kuwait experienced heavy rainfall and hail on Thursday due to the current Sarayat season which will last until May 17, reports Annahar daily.

According to Kuwait Meteorological Department, the weather will start improving gradually from Friday. Director of Agricultural and Hydrological Forecast Department Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi explained that Kuwait has been witnessing unstable weather the last few days with heavy clouds, thunderstorms, low visibility and dust. The cloud-cover on Friday was lesser and the wind speed had reduced to 12-30 kms per hour. Maximum temperature on Friday was between 30 and 33 degrees Centigrade and the height of waves was about 2-4 feet.

He indicated that the weather on Saturday will be sunny with wind speed of 6-22 kms per hour. The maximum temperature will be between 30 and 33 degrees Centigrade and minimum 17-19 degrees Centigrade. Height of waves will be between 1-2 feet.
