Focus Kuwait Conducted Annual General Body Meetting

Forum of CADD users – FOCUS Kuwait, an affiliated local chapter to the International AutoCAD users group (AUGI), USA, conducted the 10 th Annual General Body Meeting on April 1st 2016, at the ‘’Tharaavaadu’’ Auditorium Abbasiya
In the AGM chaired by President Babukutty K. Mathew, Vice President Mr.Thampi Lukose delivered the welcome address.Joint Secretary Mr. Sunil Kumar presented the condolence resolution paying tributes to the late socio-cultural leaders and relatives of FOCUS members, departed recent past. Former General Secretary, Mr.Anil.K.B presented the report on last AGM.
FOCUS General Secretary Mr.Sajeev Kumar presented the annual working report for the year 2015-’16. Treasurer Mr.Nithin Kumar presented the Financial Report of the concluded working year .
Besides of conducting intensive CADD training programmes FOCUS is committed to serve the community extending helps and monetary measures to the unprivileged Indian Nationals in Kuwait.
Selected representatives from the sixteen units of FOCUS actively involved in the open discussions and AGM approved the working report and accounts.
The AGM elected the new office bearers of working year 2016-’17. Presiding officers Mr.Ratheesh Kumar and Mr. Mohammed Farook are controlled the electing process. Following are the newly elected Office bearers:Mr. Thampi Lukose (President), Mr.Mukesh Karayil (General Secretary),Mr.Mohammed Farooq (Treasurer), Mr.Sunil. P.K (Vice President), Mr.Simon Baby (Joint. Secretary), Mr.Saji Joy (Joint. Treasurer).
Mr.Ratheesh Kumar.S, Mr. Mohammed Iqbaal Malayil , Mr.A.Salim Raj was elected as Advisory Board Members, Mr.Binu Mathew and Mr. Daniel Thomas . as Auditors in addition to the election of Mr.Sajeev Kumar, the out going Secretary as Ex-Officio to the new newly formed Executive Committee.

Different co-ordination sub-committees for registration, minutes, volunteer, food and stage under the auspicious leadership of Mr.Santhosh Kumar,Mr. Sreekumar, Mr.Shaju M. Jose, Mr. Sirajudheen P.I . Mr.Saleem M.N,and Mr. Abdul Rasheed actively and collectively functioned for the successful turnaround of the AGB meeting. Newly elected office bearers and executive committee members were introduced to the AGB, and they expressed their thanks. Elected joint secretary Daniel Thomas extended vote of thanks. A sumptuous dinner also served to all the attendees.
