Two months ‘impound’ for driving on right shoulder

Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs at the Ministry of Interior Major-General Abdullah Al-Muhanna has issued a decision which allows the traffic police to impound vehicles for two months from motorists who drive on the right shoulder of the road, reports Al-Anba daily.

The daily added the traffic police will strictly adhere to another decision which was issued earlier limiting the speed of vehicles on left shoulders of the road to 45 kph and that too motorist can drive in this lane only during permissible times.
