Kuwaiti women to be hired as school guards

The Ministry of Education is planning to appoint Kuwaiti women as guards in public schools for girls next year. The guards will officially be referred to as ‘security officers’ and will officially be hired on July 1, 2016.

Kuwaiti women wishing to apply for this job will be hired through private companies in coordination with the Manpower and Government Restructuring Program (MGRP).

Each employee will receive a starting salary of KD 260 a month, added to it the government’s monthly labor support allowance, local daily Al-Rai reported.
