Kuwait Engineers Forum to organise Technical Conference and Exhibition - KINETIC 2016

Kuwait Engineers Forum will be organising the 3rd Technical Conference and Exhibition - KINETIC 2016, an annual Technical event, on 3rd April 2016 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait. The objective of KINETIC (Kuwait Industrial Exhibition & Techncial Conference) is to provide a suitable platform where the engineering community can directly interact with technical experts, research scientists and manufacturers, thereby share knowledge and expertise.
This year, the conference theme is “Sustainable Development – Innovation, Opportunities & Challenges.” The conference will highlight Sustainability and emerging challenges in the areas of Global Economic Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Clean & Renewable Energy, Cyber Security, Information Technology, E-Learning & Automations; which have a special relevance to Kuwait.
The key speakers for the conference include:
• Dr. Khaled A. Mahdi, Secretary General, Supreme Council for Planning and Development, Kuwait.
• Mr. Mutlaq Rasheed Nasser Al-Azmi, DCEO, SHUAIBA Refinery, KNPC, Kuwait.
• Dr. Hassan Ali Kamal, Member of Municipal Council, Kuwait.
• Dr. Gangan Pratap, Former Director, NISCAIR (National Institute of Science Communication and Information Resources).
• Dr. Muralee Thumarukudy, Chief of Disaster Risk Reduction at UNEP (United Nations Environment Program.
Various local and international companies are participating in KINETIC, through setting up their Booths. Further, a total of 21 technical papers shall be presented by experts, professionals and manufacturers on the topics of Health, Safety & Environment, Renewable Energy/Clean Energy, Water Management & Conservation, Hybrid Energy/Energy Saving, Management of EPC Projects, Cyber Security & e-learning, Remediation & Waste Management.
This year, KINETIC has introduced Poster Presentation for University Graduate students, and young technical professionals as a unique platform for expressing their innovation and talents to present their idea on the Conference Theme.
KINETIC also has included an Executive Panel Discusson, which shall be held in the afternoon session, where experts shall be discussing on the topic sustainability development challenges in the fluctauting oil price econony.
The conference will have delegates from many corporate and government organizations including universities.
