Kuwait City MarThoma Edavaka Mission conducted its 4th Campers Meet at United Indian School Auditorium Abassiya in collaboration with Metro Medical Center. The event commenced with the medical check-up for the camp members which included check-up of blood pressure, cholesterol & sugar level. There were 11 counters and 22 nurses arranged for check-up. The nurses’ team was headed by Ms.Sallkutty Varghese.
The Public program began with prayer by Abraham Chacko (Vice President – Edavaka Mission). It was inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Dr. Euyakim Mar Coorilos Episcopa and the member from camp Mr. Binu P. John. Mr. Babu Johnson (Secretary) welcomed all the members. Vicar, Rev. Sam Koshy T (President) presided over the function and gave the presidential address. Rev. Prince Varghese Madathileth gave the felicitation speech. “Medical talk” was given by Dr. Viji Koshy George, Dr. P.C.Koruthu & Dr. Zaharias Mathew. Adv. P. John Thomas gave a speech based on the theme “Home away from Home”.
Medical consultation were given by Dr. Viji Koshy George & Dr. Alex Varghese. A dance program was performed by Kumari Ammu & Team. Quick quiz was conducted by P.C. Abraham. A special Song was also sung by Edavaka Mission Choir written and composed by Kochumon Pallikal. Solos were also sung by camp members. Various gifts were also presented to all the attendees. The grand finale was a magic show presented by Magician Indrajith Limsa.
Various Committee were also formed for the success of the program Mr. Prasobh Philip (Reception Convener), Siji George (Camp Coordinator & Food). It was a memorable day for all the participants. It was a great opportunity for all members to come together and a great relief from the daily routine work. Dr. John Thomas & Parimanam Manoj served as the General Conveners. Program ended with the vote of thanks by Parimanam Manoj (Convener).
