Unified fare for mobile phone calls in GCC countries by April

A unified fare will be used for mobile phone calls in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries by the beginning of April, which would be 40 percent cheaper than current rates, local daily Kuwait Times reported quoting Adel Darweesh, Chairman of international relations at the telecom organization authority and head of the GCC mobile phones team.
Saily also added that the GCC states agreed to gradually reduce the fare over the period of three years starting from April.
