200 people ‘arrested’ in various security crackdown

The Public Security Department continued its security campaigns in various parts of the country in the last 48 hours, resulting in the arrest of 200 people who committed various violations – some of whom are wanted by law for involvement in civil and criminal cases.

During these campaigns, the security officers prevented 40 public brawls in commercial complexes and along the streets in all governorates. Such campaigns are ongoing
in every part of the country to ensure strict compliance with the law and those proven to have violated the law are referred to concerned authorities for legal action.
