World Kidney Day KKMA organized Free Medical Screening Camp

The Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association (KKMA), the leading social welfare organization of Indians in Kuwait jointly with Indian Doctors Forum [IDF] and In Partnership of Malabar Gold & Diamonds celebrated the World Kidney Day by organizing a large scale Medical Screening and Consultation Camp for Indians in Kuwait.

The Camp was supported by Kuwait National Guard, Kuwait Herat Foundation, Dasman Diabetic Center, Association of Indian Ophthalmologists Indian Dentists Alliance Saudi
Kuwait Pharmaceutical and AlHafiz trading establishment.

Hon. Indian Ambassaddor Mr. Sunil Jain, inaugurated the Medical camp. Mr. Sunil Jain , on his inaugural speech, lauded the valuable social services rendering by KKMA for the social welfare of Indians in Kuwait and back home, and he specially mentioned in his speech about Indian Doctors Forum for supporting community organizations in conducting such big screening camp last 5 years consecutively utilizing the selfless services of Indian doctors in Kuwait, further Mr. Sunil Jain added that Malabar Gold and Diamonds also performing corporate social responsibility and great charities by supporting such Medical Camps. Hon Ambassador and Lf. Coln Saad Adil , Dr. Faisal Al Refai,and Dr. Salman Khan distributed mementoes to the key supporters. Mr. Ibrahim Kunnil, president Kuwait Kerala Muslim Association presided over the function.

The camp started at the Friday morning, which considered as the largest medical camp so far held in Kuwait, nearly 1600 participants including of women and children made the use of the camp. A dedicated team of medical professionals led by IDF President Dr. Vinod Grover, Dr. Sunil Yadav, Dr. Vivek Vani ,Dr. Philipson along with more than 55 expert doctors who are specialized in cardiology, dermatology, diabetic and endocrinology, E.N.T., gastroenterology, general medicine, gynecology, nephrology, neurology, Ophthalmology, orthopaedic, pediatric, general surgery and urology provided their free consultancy services. Many patients who required immediate medical care were referred to hospitals and offered support by the expert doctors for their follow ups.Medicines also given to the patients.

Hameed Mulky, K.C Gafoor,A.V. Mustafa , Syed Rafeek, C. Firose, Samsam Rasheed, V.K. Gafoor, Eng. Nawas, O.P. Sharafudheen, Majeed Rawabi, Shamseer Nasser more than 100 KKMA volunteers relentlessly offered their dedicated efforts for the success of the medical camp.
