194 workers nabbed in Friday Market crackdown

Four inspection teams raided the Friday Market and filed 194 citations, the Manpower Public Authority’s Deputy Chairman for Labor Protection Abdullah AlMotoutah said. Violations detected during the crackdown include residency visa violations by government employees, dependents, laborers on government contracts and farm workers working at the market.
Motoutah said that the violators were arrested and referred to relevant authorities.
