NBTC Winter Carnival - 2016

Festivity at NBTC was paramount on the afternoon of Thursday 25th February, when the Honourable Chairman hoisted flag and released tri-colour balloons to the skies marking the opening of NBTC Winter Carnival ’16.



Organized at the premises of Corporate Office was one of the landmark events of NBTC displaying the culinary skills of employees, staff & families. The food stalls displayed diverse and varied by rich dishes from different regions.



The public function was graced by Adoor Gopalakrishnan, one of the most famous film makers India has ever produced along with NBTC Chairman, Mohammed Al Baddah and Manging Director K. G. Abraham. Winners of Annual Sports meet were presented with trophies and medals. Shibey Abraham welcomed the gathering and Lucia Williams coordinated the function. Adoor Gopalakrishnan, unveiled the model of 25 Houses being built for the employees to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of NBTC. K. S. Vijay Chandran presented the CSR projects undertaken by NBTC.



Another highlight of the evening was the performance of Guinness Book record holder and film actor Ajay Kumar, popularly known as Guinness Pakru along with Reji Ramapuram.



The unique event among the corporate houses in Kuwait, turned out to be an evening of merriment, fun, games, music, and dances that entertained everyone.



While the crowds were busy satisfying their taste buds, and the sun was settling down at the western end, everyone was brought to their feet with the flash mob presented by Heart Beats. The cultural bonanza continued with dance performances by the budding performers of Employee’s children and the NBTC Band, Desert Thunder.





Haricharan, one of the most promising Indian play back singers of the modern era, mesmerized the audience with his melodious musical performances with Sharanya Srinivas along with Bennet & Band.



Mind blowing events felt short of time – mouthwatering delicacies left no room in everyone’s tummy, while smiles on the faces of the parting crowd heightened the joy with gratitude and signaled their hope for the next event.
