A new academic session, a new day. We all finished our 7th Grade and are promoted to 8th. I did not get any of my new friends in my new class. I saw a boy sitting in the last bench and writing something. I went to him and asked “Are you new to this school?” He replied “Yes, I am new.” I asked him what he was writing and he told me that he was designing his new app ‘Autograph’. I was shocked to see a 8th standard boy designing apps. I did not believe him as even I have some knowledge on C (Computer Programming Language). Therefore, I ventured to ask him some more basic questions and he answered all right. He knew more than I did also. I went home, searched for his name, Esakkivel Esakkiraja and got the list of his apps: - Rocket Messenger, 4G LTE Pro, 4G LTE &Convertz.
The next day I was thrilled to meet him and in my free time I asked him some more questions
1.Tell me about yourself
My name is l Esakkivel Esakkiraja but usually everyone call me Vignesh. My dad’s name is Esakkiraja and my mom’s name is Veni. And I even have a sister named Swetha. She is 5 years younger to me. I am from Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
2.How did your interest in computers began?
Inspired by Robo (Robot in Hindi) Movie, I wanted to make small robots. I made some and they were failures. So I got interested more in Software while surfing internet on Robo.
3.Did your parents encourage you?
First when I made some apps without coding, they were not successful but my parents encouraged me not to lose hope. So, it is because of my parents’ encouragement that I am pro-programmer today.
4.Doing all these works, do you have time for academic and social stuff?
All the programming things I do is when I am free. Usually my day is packed.
5.When did you find your High-tech Technological Life?
First in February 2014, when I published my first apps for Android. I didn’t know much. Then in September 2014, my dad gifted me an Android Developer Account in which I published my successful apps which were Rocket Messenger and 4GLTE Pro.
6.Do you wish to continue in the field and make it your career?
Yes. As told before , I want to become a web developer and make more and more apps. My wish is to work with Apple.
7.What is your ultimate goal in your life?
My wish is to work with Apple one day.
