Idukki Association Kuwait celebrated 'Onam 2015'

Idukki Association Kuwait (IAK) celebrated 'Onam 2015' on 18th September 2015 from 09 am till 5 pm at Co-operative community hall, Jleeb Al Shuyoukh. Various art competitions for children like pencil drawing, coloring, fancy dress and singing were organized. IAK's Malayali Manka 2015 selection was interestingly competitive. Most attractive among the various cultural programs staged was a skit performed by 40 plus IAK members. They presented various festival related art forms like Pulikali, Thiruvathira, Vanchipattu, Chendamelam and other traditional group dances.
The public meeting started with prayer song. President Mr. Georgie Mathew Manchappillil presided the meeting. General Secretary Mr. Sibi John welcomed the chief guest Mr. Mathew Stephen Ex MLA of Idukki, other invited dignitaries and association members. Advisory board chairman Mr. Jeral Jose conveyed Onam greetings. IAK's 10th anniversary year logo was officially released by the chief guest. Memento of appreciation was presented to M/s Joance Builders & Developers from Kerala for being the main sponsor of the event. Treasurer Mr. Bijoy Kurian expressed vote of thanks.
Vice-President Mr. Baiju Paul and Joint-Treasurer Mr. Sanil Jose coordinated the lip-smacking feast “Onasadhya". Programs of the day were coordinated by Secretary Mr. Sunil Kumar. Executive member Mr. Binu PD designed and organized to spread the marvelous 'Onapookkalam'. Auditor Mr. Ajay Thomas and executive committee members Mr. Jomon Jacob, Mr. KS Joy, Mr. Nix K Baby, Mr. Jijo Jose, Mr. Binoy MK, Mr. Justine Joseph, Mr. Bruce Chacko and Mr. Abraham Kuruvila have been tirelessly supporting towards the great success of IAK's 'Onam 2015'.
