IEI Kuwait Chapter met Chairman of Kuwait Society of Engineers

A meeting with the Chairman of Kuwait Society of Engineers Eng.Saad Al Muhalbi was held on 9th Sep 15 at his office by the undersigned along with our past chairman Mr. Joseph Panicker, Hon Gen Secy Dr.Mahendhran, Hon Asst Gen Secy Engr. Thomas John and Hon Auditor Eng Ilangovan.
IEI Kuwait Chapter introduced its office bearers for the year 2015-16 and briefed KSE chairman on the various activities of IEI Kuwait Chapter. During our discussions KSE expressed their keenness to be associated with IEI Kuwait Chapter in various technical meetings and requested IEI Kuwait Chapter to become more involved with the KSE Technical teams and work closely with them in matters of importance to Kuwait society and propose possible solutions to technical challenges prevailing in various matters.KSE was highly appreciative of the contributions of Indian Engineers and expressed their expectations for more active participation of IEI Kuwait Chapter members with KSE.
IEI Kuwait Chapter expressed the necessity to renew the memorandum between KSE & IEI for mutual membership and it was mutually agreed to submit necessary agreements for the review and signature by both parties.
IEI Kuwait Chapter also took up the long pending issue of KSE membership for Indian Engineers and as a first step in this process IEI Kuwait Chapter emphasized the membership for corporate members of IEI to KSE. It was agreed that IEI Kuwait Chapter will submit an official letter and necessary documentation for KSE’s review and approval. The discussions included Seminar Invitations between IEI Kuwait Chapter and KSE as well as joint seminars and workshops.
Former KSE Chairman Engr. Talal Qahtani also was present during entire meeting along with KSE Chairman Engr.Saad Almuhalbi.
