More than 33,000 absent from government work on Tuesday

According to reports, more than 33,000 took emergency or sick leaves on Tuesday 22nd September, one day before Eid Al-Adha holidays.

An informed source at the Civil Service Commission (CSC) said the number of state employees who asked for emergency or sick leaves during the period that proceeded the holiday of Eid Al-Adha exceeded 33,000, and the largest percentage of those are administrative staff at the Education Ministry.
