Kuwait gets the opportunity to participate in National Children Science Congress 2015 to be Held in Hyderabad

Department of Science and Technology, Government of India has entrusted Science International Forum-Kuwait (SIF-Kuwait) to conduct the Kuwait level Children's Science Congress and hence select the projects from Kuwait for their participation in National level Children’s Science Congress. This program in Kuwait will be named as NCSC-Young Scientists Program 2015.

It is for the first time the students at different Indian Schools in Kuwait also will get the unique opportunity to participate with their projects in the prestigious ‘National Children's Science Congress’ [NCSC] (the flag ship program of the National Council for Science & Technology Communication (NCSTC), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India), along with selected participants from all the States/Union Territories of India and other ASEAN Countries.

Focal theme for the year 2015 is "Understanding Weather and Climate". Each Indian School in Kuwait can send a maximum of two projects – one from each age group

Lower Group: 10 years to less than 14 years
Upper Group: 14 years to less than 17 years

Age will be determined as on 31st December of the calendar year. A group of children not exceeding 5 (five), can do the project with the help of school teachers, coordinators of school science clubs, activists of science based voluntary organizations etc. The selected participant will attend the National Level Event in India.
The last date for confirmation about School’s participation is 15th September 2015.
