CHRISCCAA held reception to Prof: Joseph Jacob

Christian College Chengannur Alumni Association (CHRISCCAA) Kuwait chapter held a reception to Prof:Joseph Jacob,former head of the English department, Chengannur Christian College, at United Indian School Auditorium, Abbassiya,on 20th August 2015 from 8.00 pm. General Secretary Sunil Thomas Varghese delivered a warm welcome address and explained the activities of association for the last thirteen years in brief and welcomed the dignitary, his family and all other Alumni s and family members.President Idicula Mathew explained his close relationship with Prof:Joseph Jacob for many years.

Felicitations were given by former president Raju Varghese vemony,association vice president Adv. John Thomas and former Joint Secretary Mrs.Saramma Johns.All the speakers echoed their long relationship with honorable professor and shared various moments with him.All were agreed to the point that the professor was very polite and a exceptional teacher of English language.

The melodious solo songs by Joann Mariam Alex, Neha Mathews and Hena Mariam Thomas thrilled the audience and filled the atmosphere with a festive vigor and ambiance, the great applause's were denoting the quality of their voice and delivery.

President Idicula Mathew presented the memento to Prof.Jospeh Jacob as an appreciation from the Association. Prof: Joseph Jacob in his reply address gave a very good message quoting the life of late president Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam and encouraged all the gathering to live life in a way that suited in helping others.He expressed his happiness over the way the reception was conducted in a short notice and thanked everyone attended. Mrs.Lalitha Joseph, wife of Prof:Joseph also expressed her happiness over the lovable reception.

Joint Secretary Mrs.Annamma Varghese gave vote of thanks and expressed her happiness on behalf of the association in getting an opportunity to arrange a reception to Prof:Joseph, and also thanked all speakers, the young talented singers, alumni members and families for making the event a grant success. The program was well compered by former Gen.Secretary Mr.Alex A Chacko. Thereafter the members posed for a group photo with the dignitary and family members.The program came to an end with a delicious dinner.
