Independence Day Celebration at Little Castle Indian Pre- School, Mangaf

16th August 2015, was a day with full of enjoyment for the angels of Little Castle, Indian Pre-school, Mangaf.We had celebrated India’s 69th Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. School premises were decorated with tri-colour balloons, flags, posters and pictures of national leaders.A special flag was displayed which was created with the little hand prints of the children.Play group,summer class students and staffs were gathered in the school hall for the special morning assembly. They all were dressed up in saffron/white/green by representing Indian flag and fashioned a lovely ambience for the occasion.

Kids sang ‘Indian National Anthem’ and shouted “VandeMataram” at the top of their voice by expressing their excitement on this auspicious day.Mrs.Mumthaz Jamal,the Director of Little Castle made an awareness to the young citizens about the importance of the day.She said that India got freedom from British rule on 15th August which is celebrated as Indian Independence day every year.She added that we should keep respect and love towards our Motherland even though far away from our nation” and “Unity in diversity” is the main motto of our country.Mrs.Andriya Pearline thanked to all her colleagues for their support and assistance to conduct such a wonderful programme.

As part of the celebration different kinds of craft activities and colouring competition were also held.Trophies were distributed to the winners those who won first and second places in competition.Children returned to home happily by waving flag and munching toffees.
