Indian Muslim Association Organized Interfaith Iftar Party

The Fahaheel and Abu-Halifa Units of Indian Muslim Association (IMA-Kuwait) in cooperation with Ministry of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs organized an interfaith Iftar Party at Fintas-Auditorium, inviting people from various faiths to foster friendship.
Ejaz Ahmad Aslam, a leading Islamic Scholar from India and Peace TV speaker spoke on the subject ‘Make Your Life More Successful’. He precisely explained what the holy month of Ramadan expects from us. He said as the Holy Book ‘Qur’an’ is central to this month & therefore the implementation of the Qur’anic teachings is vital in every walks of human endeavor and Character Building.
He further quoted from the Holy Qur’an, "Ramadan is the month in which the Qur'an was sent down, as a guide to mankind, also clear Signs for guidance and judgment between right and wrong…” He added that Ramadan is a special month and it is a time for inner reflection, devotion to God and indeed is as a kind of tune-up for their spiritual lives. He emphatically added that the purpose of fasting is to create God consciousness.
On this occasion Dr. Praveen Kotwani, President of Indian Lawyers Forum Adv. Thomas Panicker, Thirumaran Amrithlingam and Albert Praveen Menezes, President KCWA delivered the felicitation speeches. They appreciated the interfaith social interaction initiated by IMA and recalled their valuable experiences with the Muslim brethren.
Questions and answers session was conducted at the end of the program. Program concludes with a buffet dinner. The function started with the recitation of Holy Qur’an by Br. Munawwar. IMA Vice-President Mohammad Hasan presided the function. Parvez Hanif convened the program. Large number of people attended the program from different occupations. Br. Mansour and Br. Mujhir Khan managed this event.
