Similar is the paintings of Mr Mukundan Pazhanimala who is an artist cum a passionate teacher.

Art is the expression of imagination. Mr Mukundan expresses his feelings through Hand, Heart and Mind. This is clearly seen in all of his art works. His works depicts Joy and Happiness. His artworks capture one’s heart and soul.

Born in Palakad, Kerala, Mr Mukundan, had an interest in arts right from his childhood days. With the encouragement from his family and friends he joined Fine Arts. In 1990 he joined Bhavans, Cochin Kendra in Kerala as Arts Teacher. Worked there for 15 years and with his vast teaching experience, joined Bhavans, Kuwait in 2007. He is currently working as a Head of the Department for Art & Craft at Bhavans, Kuwait. Artist Mukundan has conducted several art exhibitions in Kerala. His paintings always reflect his inclination towards realism. His imagination has so far taken life in various mediums like oil, acrylic, water, Mural, Fabric, Knife Painting etc. Uniqueness of his art work is that he creates fine arts out of a cup of coffee. Coffee is being used as a medium of painting. His main specialisation is Oil Painting.





In 2011 he received Best Performer Award from IES - Bhavans, Kuwait. His many disciples have received National and International Level Awards in this Field. One of his students who studied in NIFT, Delhi came out as a first rank holder and has among his student community umpteen numbers of students all over India who have excelled in the field of art. Under his able guidance, Bhavans Kuwait has been the overall champions in all the major art competitions held in Kuwait like the Bala Kala Mela, Niram of Kala Kuwait and Centerpoint Art Olympiad for many consecutive years and his contributions as an art teacher have been unique and praiseworthy.





Recently he had conducted “Beyond Colour” – Art Exhibition 2015 where his and his disciple’s art works were kept on display. More than 60 incredible art works were exhibited.

Mr Mukundan spends his free time imparting the knowledge of art to the kids and adults on different forms of Art like Oil Painting, Water Colour painting, Mural Painting etc.
