Luxury sports car brand Lamborghini has revealed it will add an SUV model to its existing line of machinery. The new vehicle will be introduced to the market by 2018, though the concept was first revealed in 2012 as the Lamborghini Urus at the Beijing auto show.

Lamborghini has claimed it will invest hundreds of millions of euros over the lifecycle of the new SUV in collaboration with the Volkswagen Group, Audi, Italian Ministry of Economic Development, Invitalia national agency, Emilia Romagna Region, and the Union Representatives. The project will include the construction of new facilities such as productions line and warehousing, as well as the enlargement of the Research and Development department (R&D).

According to the brand, its target markets will predominantly be Russia, the United Kingdom, Germany, the USA, China, and the Middle East.

According to Automobili Lamborghini President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann, “The new SUV will be made in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Production of the new SUV will see Lamborghini’s factory site increase from 80,000 square metres to 150,000 square metres. The carmaker plans to produce around 3,000 cars, which will double company sales.

Audi, which is owned by the German Volkswagen Group, acquired Automobili Lamborghini in 1998. on-their-husbands.aspx">open women who love to cheat
