The non profitable organization to promote Art in Kuwait IARTCO will open a permanent art gallery in Kuwait to exhibit Indian arts. The Kuwait Art Foundation Gallery will be open to public on Thursday, 4th June 2015, with its first exhibition of Indian arts titled 'Mind n Moods', the officials behind the art gallery said here in a press briefing.

"Our aim is to create awareness of Indian Art and Culture to the people in Kuwait", said Mr Osama Al Ramadan, managing director of Armada International General Trading and Contracting establishment, who is been providing all his support to the opening of a permanent art gallery to exhibit Indian Arts.

"Lots of Indian artists are finding difficulty to get the dates of galleries in Kuwait and the expenses of logistics and display of paintings fixed on artificial dry wall is too costly which a normal artist cannot afford. This is where we started thinking of a professional art gallery in Kuwait which will help to showcase the works of artists from India as well as Kuwait", said Mr MV John, CEO of IARTCO, a non profitable organization to promote Indian Art.

The Gallery is located at 6th floor of Burj Thoban, Gulf Rose Hotel building, Mirgab, Kuwait city. The not for profit gallery is a right platform to all Indian artists in Kuwait to exhibit and sell their original work. The gallery doesn’t charge any commission from the buyer or the seller. The artist can use the gallery for a very nominal fee.

The first exhibition at the gallery will be inaugurated by Indian Ambassador to Kuwait HE Sunil Jain on Thursday, June 4th evening 7:00 pm. The exhibition 'Mind n Moods' will be open to public till June 8th from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. Around 40 original art works of 15 artists from India will be exhibited in the expo. div>
