Indian Nurses Federation of Kuwait Celebrates Nurses day

The Indian nurses working in Kuwait celebrate the Nurses Day on 16th May under Indian Nurses Federation of Kuwait, “INFOK". The Nurses Day celebration was inaugurated by Indian Ambassador Sunil Jain at United Indian School Kuwait at United Indian School Auditorium Abassiya. INFOK President Sajeev Surendran presided over the function. Dr. Vivek Vani , Vice President Indian Doctors Forum, Dr. Biji Thomas, President Swanthanam, Shirly Alex Assistant Nursing Director, and well-known media personality and social activist Thomas Mathew Kadavil felicitated the function. INFOK General Secretary Sajan Mathew welcomed the huge gathering of nurses from various hospitals. Lissiyamma John said vote of thanks. Rededication to the nursing service Nurses’ Oath was taken by lighting the candle in remembrance of the “Lady with Lamp” Florence Nightingale.




In this function the Senior Nurses who have completed 25 years of meritorious services were honored by the Indian Ambassador Sunil Jain. Various cultural Programs by the family members of the INFOK, Disco Dance, and Musical Fest were the highlights of the cultural festivities arranged as part of the celebration. INFOK is an independent socio- cultural organization registered under the Indian Embassy without any affiliation to politics, religion, caste or creed
