Traffic department to replace paper citations with e-citations soon

Director of Department of Investigation in General Department for Traffic Brigadier Mohsen Al-Mekhyal has disclosed the traffic police will soon be provided with gadgets to record conversation between the securitymen and violators of laws, Arab Times daily reported citing Al- Kuwaitiah Arabic daily.

The daily also reported that plans are underway to increase the vehicles insurance fees due to the nature of serious violations and traffic accidents.

Al-Mekhyal reiterated expatriate motorists who are caught carrying passengers in return for money face immediate deportation. He also pointed the ministry will soon replace paper citations with e-citations.
