ICSK Junior Conducted Senate Investiture Ceremony

The Indian Community School Kuwait, Junior, held a grand Investiture Ceremony ‘Excellence with Uniqueness’ on Monday, 11th May, 2015. The galaxy of luminaries present to light the decorative ceremonial lamp and invoke the blessings of the Lord Almighty, Principal of Carmel School Sister Serena as the chief guest, Honorary Secretary to the Board of Trustees Mr. Vijay Karayil, PAC representative to the Board Mr. Suresh K.P., other PAC members Dr. Prathap Unninathan, Mr. Shiju Sadashivan, Mr. Joel Jose, Mr. Prince Joseph, Principal in-charge Mrs. Sherly Dennis and Vice- Principal Mrs. Gomathy Murthy.
All newly inducted senate members for the year 2015-2016, silhouetted with pride, power and glory in respect to the light of knowledge. Principal in-charge Mrs. Sherly Dennis, in her opening address, outlined the truly democratic election procedure conducted in stages from the day of filing in nomination, interview and campaigning till the day of electronic voting. She further advised the elected members to maintain the discipline and decorum of the school.
Guest of Honor Honorary Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Mr. Vijay Karayil imparted his thoughts about leadership. He gave a motivational speech advising them to have a clear conscience while delineating their duties. A thunderous applause that followed denoted the positive impact of the power packed speech.
The music prodigies of the school presented a melodious inspirational theme song leaving the audience mesmerized. Senate advisor Mrs. Meena Raicar, in her address, briefly described the democratic election procedure in the school. The young, energetic and enthusiastic leaders marched in rhythm to the slow drum beat in perfect harmony. Principal in-charge administered the oath-taking ceremony reminding elected members who stood with their heads held high with firm resolution and confidence, on their unswerving sense of commitment as an individual to the self and the school.
Esteemed Chief Guest Sister Serena asked elected students to provide the right direction with utmost humility and dignity for their friends and juniors, which would help in the smooth governance of the school. She further advised the newly elected members to be the architects of the future and builders of a dynamic vision thereby leaving behind a solid legacy in the sands of time for all to cherish.
On behalf of the school, as a token of appreciation and gratitude, Mr.Vijay Karayil accompanied by Principal in-charge Sherly Dennis and Vice-Principal Mrs. Gomathy Murthy presented a memento to the chief guest Sister Serena.
It is indeed an honor for the best students to get democratically elected to the senate of ICSK Junior to function under the expertise of advisors Mrs. Meena Raicar and Mrs. Sabiha Altaf. Parents of the Senate elect present cherished the glorious event beyond measure.
The President of the School Senate Master Jeremiah Mathew, on behalf of his team, proposed a hearty vote of thanks. He reiterated his commitment towards the school and his fellow students. He also expressed his sincere thanks to the luminaries and entire fraternity present for the function.
