Bhavan’s Nurseries Organized Rhyme Competition

Monday, May 18, 2015

Finger plays and rhymes come to life during circle and large group activities as kindergarten children show word meaning through simple actions and finger movements. Children develop memory and recall skills as they sing and recite the songs and poems.

Bhavan’s Pearl and Jack and Jill Nurseries conduct Group Action Rhyme Competition annually to help the little children foster their language skills. Nursery Rhymes are crucial for the overall development of the children as they help children develop cognitive, motor, auditory, listening, and verbal skills. The nursery schools organized the group action rhyme competition in the first week of May in a magnificent manner.

Kindergarten children of Bhavan’s Pearl and Bhavan’s Jack and Jill recited the rhymes with great aplomb. The children loved to watch their friends on stage and supported them with cheers and applause. The winners of the completion were given away certificates by the heads of the institutions.
