Telugudesam-Kuwait Inviting Andhra Pradesh State Assembly Speaker Sri Kodela Siva Prasada Rao garu to Kuwait

Telugudesam - Kuwait, an organization which is working for the welfare of Telugu people living in Kuwait. Main Aim of this organization is “bridging the relation between Indian state Governments and the Telugu people living in Kuwait belongs to both Telugu States Andhra Pradesh and recently formed 29th state Telangana”.
We are very much delighted to inform that a well-respected surgeon Dr. Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, the Honorable Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly accepted our invitation to come to Kuwait and have interaction with Telugu people and to understand the needs of Telugus in Kuwait. We have also brought to his knowledge, the great services of Indian Embassy of Kuwait to the community. It will be first of its kind of program organizing in Kuwait by Telugus bringing State Assembly speaker as a special guest and State government representative to hear all the NRI Telugu Peoples problems here and back home in Andhra Pradesh. Dr. Kodela Siva Prasada Rao garu is very senior leader in TDP, famous Surgeon, one of the Directors in Nandamuri Basavatarakam Cancer Centre, Ex-AP Home minister and Present AP Assembly Speaker.
Few words to say about Dr. Kodela Siva Prasada rao garu… He completed his MS in Banaras University and Established his own practice in Narasaraopeta near Guntur and due to his efficiency and soft nature endeared in no time with the people. Dr.Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, founder Of Telugu Desam Party inspired him to contest election in 1983. Knowing the services of Dr. Sivaprasada Rao, Dr.NT Rama Rao,the then CM, directly offered Home Ministry to Dr. Kodela and it was record in the country to offer Home portfolio as a maiden attempt. Later Dr. Siva Prasada Rao got very prestigious portfolios such as Civil supplies, Panchayat Raj, Health, and Irrigation. As Health Minister, he was instrumental for starting of Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Institute at Hyderabad for cancer treatment to the people at International standards in a most affordable way. This cancer Institute was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister, Sri. Vajpayee garu. Dr. Kodela Siva Prasada Rao garu Entered into Guinness world record for Organising Hand washing relay in Sattenapalli on 27.4.15 in continuation of Swachh Sattenapalli mission, Swachh Andhra and Swachh Bharat.
Telugu Desam - Kuwait organizing a public program with Telugu people, Dr. Kodela Siva Prasada Rao garu and Indian Ambassador as Chief Guest on 29th May 2015 Friday from 4 PM onwards in Kuwait Boys Scout Association, Hawally (Opposite to Centre Point). Through this program we will address and share key issues & problems facing in Andhra Pradesh such as delay in getting PCC, Medical Check-up issues, insurance issues, discrimination in higher college admissions (NRI children’s are treated as non-local) and all other AP NRI problems. After the program, we will request Dr. Kodala garu to represent all the issues to State Government to resolve in amicable way. All the Telugu people are invited to attend the event and make it a grand success.
